Architectural designer Caspar Schols has crafted Cabin Anna, a modular timber cabin with innovative sliding walls.
The cabin's flat-pack structure combines wood, metal and glass panels on sliders, enabling flexible reconfiguration and seamless interaction with the surroundings. By manually operating the steel sliders, residents can immerse themselves in the beauty of he Netherlands' De Biesbosch National Park.
Cabin Anna includes a mezzanine sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom with an in-floor tub and outdoor shower. This iteration builds upon Schols's adaptable cabin designs, which aim to foster a tactile connection between occupants and nature.
