Philippe Malouin has created the Sacha Chair for Resident.

Designed by Philippe Malouin, Sacha is a fully upholstered dining or side chair.

The brief was for a fully upholstered dining chair which was simple and original, to combine simplicity and originality into something as classic as a chair.

"It is comfortable, yet brutal and geometric," said Philippe Malouin. "The unique folded backrest provides the perfect resting angle for your back, allowing considerable lumbar support."

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
