Atelier Ace has designed Ace Hotel Toronto's rooftop bar, Evangeline, with a lush plant-filled terrace and interiors reflecting a cinematic atmosphere.

The bar is an extension of the hotel's lobby by Shim-Sutcliffe Architects, and maintains its earthy tones and exposed concrete.

Overlooking Toronto from the 14th floor, the outdoor patio offers sunset views of Downtown Toronto, offering craft cocktails and small plates by chef Patrick Kriss.

The indoor space features tall ceilings, fireplaces adorned with ceramic tiles by David Umemoto, and an array of seating options with sage green and terracotta cushions.

This project has been shortlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
