Winner: Emerging interior designer of the year 2023. French-based architecture and interior practise Uchronia.

Multi-disciplinary studio Uchronia transforms spaces into places of experience removing the barriers between technique and creativity. The studio offers artistic services from architecture, design and visual identity, and worked on project including restaurants, apartments and fashion shows.

Uchronia recently renovated a Parisian apartment with bright and textured furnishings to mimic pieces of jewellery.

Judges comments: "This Paris-based studio has made a strong impact in the four years since it was set up. Founder Julien Sebban has consistently applied a playful and energetic repertoire of bold colours, striking patterns, amorphous forms and undulating lines to notable restaurant projects as well as residential and retail spaces. All of the studio’s projects have a strong sense of identity, confidently mixing a contemporary design language with welcome retro touches."
