Giorgia Lupi
Giorgia Lupi is an award-winning information designer and partner at multi-disciplinary design studio Pentagram.
Lupi is renowned for her innovative approach to data and storytelling. Her practice involves designing data-driven visual narratives across various media, with notable clients such as Google, IBM, and Starbucks, as well as cultural institutions such as MoMA and Triennale Milano Design Museum.
Her work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times and Wired. She has collaborated with non-profits including the World Health Organization and the United Nations, using data to address critical global issues.
Lupi has delivered a popular TED Talk on her humanistic approach to data and published two books, Dear Data and Observe, Collect, Draw! A Visual Journal.
She has received numerous accolades, including the National Design Award from the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in 2022. She also earned an honorary doctorate from the Maryland Institute College of Art that same year.
