Transparent has designed the Brutalist Speaker, a sculptural high-fidelity audio system.

The Brutalist Speaker is a bold fusion of architectural sculpture and sound – a captivating centrepiece for any home. Inspired by mid-century Brutalist architecture, its striking yet minimal appearance translates raw geometric forms into an immersive, unparalleled audio experience.

Crafted from 70 per cent recycled aluminium, its striking metal design enhances both acoustics and aesthetics. Featuring advanced bass reflex technology and an integrated Wi-Fi streaming module, it seamlessly blends form, function and innovation.

Reflecting Transparent's commitment to design, this project was conceived internally to challenge conventional speaker design by merging striking architectural aesthetics with
high-fidelity audio.

The target audience comprises design-conscious individuals and audio purists seeking a captivating centrepiece that delivers an unparalleled audio experience, appreciating both its sculptural appearance and its function as an artistic, high-performance device.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (consumer design) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
