W.Design has designed the interiors of the Deqin Mero Poodom Hotel, a mountain retreat in Deqin, China.

Perched at 3,600 metres on a Meili Snow Mountain viewing platform, the Deqin Meri Poodom Hotel by Wu Bin, founder of W.Design, is said to "embody a journey from the mundane to the sacred."

Exploring the essence of 'locality', the design transforms this space into "a home in the snow mountains," added W.Design.

As a result, the hotel is a sanctuary for deep dialogue with nature, faith and self.

This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
