Prostorske Prakse/Spatial Practices has designed the interiors of the exhibition system, Semper, a modular, adaptable, reusable exhibition structure first created for the Boris Podrecca exhibition in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The exhibition system, Semper, is inspired by the architectural historicist and theoretician Gottfried Semper's understanding of the origins of architecture.

His idea of knots as primary structural joints and woven textiles as walls is translated in a contemporary way in this modular, reusable exhibition structure.

The exhibition system was primarily created for an exhibition of the internationally recognised architect Boris Podrecca, who has leaned on Semper's theories throughout his architectural work.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design (interior) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
