Ste Marie has designed the interiors of  Meo, a cocktail bar and restaurant in Vancouver, Canada.

Meo is a nostalgic escape tucked into the lower story of a faded building in Vancouver's Chinatown.

Designed by Ste Marie as the seductive sister to Tannis Ling's Bao Bei and Kissa Tanto, Meo is an immersive cocktail bar and restaurant inspired by Hong Kong nightlife and clandestine love motels of the 70s and 80s, drawing from the energy and atmosphere captured in Greg Girard's photography.

As a result, plush pink interiors, vintage floral carpet, wood panelling and found curios create an inviting, time-warped world where the night is always young.

This project has been longlisted in the bar and cafe interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
