Patkau Studio has designed Minima Lightform, a series of floor, table and pendant lamps.

The Minima Lightforms Series is a lighting collection that softly illuminates any indoor space, made of curious objects, each built with the same technique that activates space from every perspective.

"The name 'Minima' tells the story of its surface," said Patkau Studio.

Developed through many experiments, the forms are the minimum 3D surface between 2D curves. The subtle tone of illumination, unique to Minima, results from graded filtration through its composite paper skin.

The Minima Lightforms collection includes an expanding catalogue of floor, table and pendant lamps, each made by hand in Vancouver, Canada.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
