O'DonnellBrown has designed the New Olympia House, a former Salvation Army Citadel in Glasgow, Scotland.

A former Salvation Army Citadel has been radically transformed into new office space in the East End of Glasgow, while also creating something unique for the community.

Now known as New Olympia House, the space supports up to 20 full-time jobs, creating something special for the community.

This £1.7m retrofit project for Clyde Gateway created 280 square metres of modern, flexible commercial office space by making careful interventions, while improving the sustainability and lifespan of the building.

The design includes a sculptural metal entrance tower, which creates a bold accessible gateway to the building, but also acts as a beacon in the local neighbourhood.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace project (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
