Teklan Studio has designed the Newstalgia textile collection for Radici, a re-invention of the 1970s and 1980s through its unique surface.
The Newstalgia collection by Tekla Evelina Severin reinterprets 1970s and 1980s patterns through bold colours and proportions. The name blends nostalgia with a fresh perspective, creating vibrant, geometric and three-dimensional designs.

The palette reflects Teklan's signature style, pairing warm tones like peach and burgundy with light blue and terracotta. Featuring eight patterns in two variations each, the collection maintains a cohesive aesthetic with just 16 shades.

Newstalgia is a striking yet harmonious family of printed textile flooring, where classic and unexpected colour pairings bring a dynamic, recognisable identity.

This project has been longlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
