Pit to Table has designed Pit Board, a bio-composite panel made from discarded olive pits.

Pit Board is a sustainable, bio-composite panel crafted from discarded olive pits, offering a striking and eco-conscious alternative to conventional surfaces.

Designed for versatility, it is ideal for applications in hospitality, office and residential settings, including countertops, tabletops, shelving, cabinetry and modular furniture designed for disassembly.

Manufactured with a hands-on approach, "each batch is carefully curated, much like olive oil production, blending raw materials sourced from both sides of Cyprus' divided island," said Pit to Table.

This process ensures that no two batches are identical, giving each panel a unique character.

This project has been longlisted in the surface design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
