AMASA Estudio has designed the renovation of Daniela Riquelme's residence in Coyoacán, Mexico.

Located in the heart of Coyoacán in Mexico City, this project renovates and expands the upper floor of Daniela Riquelme's residence, transforming it into a luminous art studio and workshop.

The design optimises space and natural light through strategic openings, a skylight and a sawtooth roof, enhancing the conditions for artistic production.

Custom carpentry integrates storage and workspace, while ironwork in a signature garnet red reflects Daniela's artistic identity.

In addition, a terrace and rotating window frame enable ventilation and connection with the surroundings.

This thoughtful intervention balances function and atmosphere, creating an inspiring environment tailored to the artist's creative process.

This project has been longlisted in the house renovation category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
