Andrea Kantelberg of Evolved Living has designed The Scallopini Table, a bespoke boardroom table crafted from repurposed Italian graveyard stone slabs.

Crafted as a one-of-a-kind commission for a wellness-focused workspace, the Scallopini Table transforms discarded material into functional art.

The table was commissioned by a private client as the emotional and visual centrepiece of a regenerative headquarters interior in Toronto.

The brief called for a material forward statement piece that reflected the project's larger ethos of sustainability, restoration and elegance.

The stone slabs' irregular shapes, tonal variations and veining were preserved and celebrated in the final composition and as a result, the table was locally fabricated by artisans in Toronto with no chemical adhesives used in assembly.

The target audience includes wellness-focused businesses and design-forward commercial clients seeking meaningful, sustainable and unique pieces that elevate their physical environments.

This project has been longlisted in the bespoke design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
