Rojkind Arquitectos has designed the Vinícola Pictograma winery in Valle de Guadalupe, México.

Nestled in the heart of Mexico's Valle de Guadalupe, Pictograma Winery redefines the dialogue between contemporary architecture and the landscape of one of the country’s most prominent wine regions.

Designed with an acute sensitivity to its surroundings, this project seamlessly integrates into the rugged terrain, ensuring minimal environmental impact while enhancing the winemaking experience.

The design strategy prioritises topographic adaptation, allowing the winery to emerge naturally from the site while optimising passive environmental strategies.

A palette of local materials – raw concrete, weathered steel and timber – was carefully selected to age gracefully alongside the landscape, evoking a timeless aesthetic that mirrors the winemaking process itself.

This project has been longlisted in the hospitality project category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
