Konstantin Grcic Design has designed Workplace B for BD Barcelona, a flexible system designed to adapt to diverse work environments.
Konstantin Grcic initiated BD's recycled extrusions collection with the Table B in 2009. Grcic was inspired by classic profiles, such as the Hypostila shelf, to develop a tabletop made of 90 per cent recycled extruded aluminium by Hydro, featuring a minimal profile that can reach infinite lengths.

From multiple lengths to the ability to add accessories such as cable baskets, power sockets, trays, screens, desk lamps and lighting, Grcic was determined to achieve more with less. This is evident in Workplace B and the unlimited configurations the system offers – the evolution of Table B.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
