Cobe, Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and Third Nature have designed The Tip of Nordø, a circular waterfront office building and public space in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Tip of Nordø, commissioned by PFA Ejendomme, is a circular multi-user office building and public space at the edge of Nordø – a reclaimed peninsula, previously used for industrial activities in Copenhagen’s northern harbour, Nordhavn.
Clad in glass and galvanised steel, the 60-metre-high building evokes a modern lighthouse, referencing nearby silos and the surrounding former industrial harbour.
Conceived as both a workplace and public destination, its welcoming lighthouse-like appearance, lush winter garden and waterfront urban spaces create a vibrant interface between work, leisure, nature and community.
This project has been shortlisted in the workplace project (large) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
