Smita Thomas is founder of Indian interior design studio Multitude of Sins, renowned for its experimental approach to design.

Formerly a corporate lawyer, Thomas established her practice in 2019 where she now creates immersive and narrative-driven spaces. Recent projects include a material lab built from salvaged waste, a house that spotlights Indian craftsmanship and a brutalist revamp of Thomas' apartment.

The studio has won multiple awards, including at the Architizer A+ Awards and Dezeen Awards, and has been shortlisted for Frame Awards and The Plan Awards.
