Onoaa Studio has designed the interiors of Conceived by Cotemp in Shanghai, China.

Conceived by Cotemp is the first permanent home of fashion brand Cotemp in Shanghai's Yongyuan Community, combining a retail space with the brand’s headquarters.

Inspired by a childhood treasure box, this project explores the idea of "hidden away, waiting to be found," said Onoaa.

A rusted-steel facade, reclaimed furniture, handmade brick fixtures and a raw, steel spiral staircase celebrate craftsmanship, ageing and discovery.

Rather than a conventional retail environment, the space invites visitors to slow down and uncover objects, materials and moments with curiosity.
