Oberkampf (Paris, France)
by Diettert Collet

Diettert Collet, formerly Ono Studio, has designed the interiors of Oberkampf in Paris, France.

This project reimagines a 28-square-metre apartment in Paris as a fluid open-plan living space, where low interventions and custom furniture create four distinct domestic sequences within a minimal architectural framework.

Conceived as a composition of volumes rather than rooms, Oberkampf transforms the constraint of limited space into an opportunity for spatial experimentation.

The challenge was to develop architectural solutions that would amplify the perception of space and make the apartment as comfortable and generous as possible, despite its compact footprint.

As a result, platforms, low walls and plinths organise uses and circulation without ever fully enclosing the space.
