Plantea Estudio has designed the interiors of the Acid cafe in Berlin, Germany.

Located on a prominent corner facing Teutoburger Platz in Prenzlauerberg, Acid occupies a serene, materially consistent ground-floor space.

This project transforms the initial austere atmosphere into a warmer, more domestic café interior while preserving the original architectural language of concrete, aluminium and galvanised steel.

A large chestnut wood structure organises the space, enclosing the stair, supporting service elements and framing the sound system.

Stainless steel, granite, timber, textiles, ceramics and carefully selected objects introduce comfort, depth and character, creating a welcoming enclave that connects the cafe's identity with its urban setting.
