Didier Faustino has designed Casa Sem Pele in Ribatejo, Portugal.

Casa Sem Pele is conceived as a rural, contemporary shelter; a manifesto in built form, a house reduced to essentials.

Through three different types of spaces, this project proposes a bold way of living, centred on domestic behaviours and human relations with one another, rather than appearances.

By transposing the codes of communal living spaces – as often found in camping facilities – to the world of private housing, Casa Sem Pele blurs the lines between intimacy and the collective, between the individual and the common.
