Swallo's founder Kelechi Ejikeme has designed GBO 1B.

GBO 1B is the second chapter of the GBO handwoven jute rug collection, designed for Swallo by Kelechi Ejikeme.

Where the first collection mapped the geographical lines of Igbo land in Eastern Nigeria, GBO 1B shifts focus to colour – distilling the region's natural topography into three elemental shades: white sand, dusty earth and deep sea.

The collection champions jute for its raw texture, natural colour absorption and sustainability.

Each rug is a meditative object – considerate of the planet, the craftsperson and the end user who seeks lasting, quiet beauty.
