Taelon7 has designed Limbo Engawa for the Limbo Museum.

Limbo Engawa is a site-specific installation in Accra, Ghana, commissioned by Limbo Museum and Art Omi.

Occupying the threshold between unfinished concrete structure and cultivated urban farmland, this project transforms overlooked spatial conditions into spaces for gathering, rest and exchange.

Inspired by woven daybeds commonly found on West African construction sites, the installation translates an everyday object into civic infrastructure.

Lightweight modular frames made from galvanised steel and salvaged billboard material create shaded spaces for farmers, caretakers and museum visitors – while proposing a reusable, adaptable architectural system shaped by informal urban practices.
