ZAV Architects has designed Olive Leaf in Minoudasht, Iran.

Olive Leaf is a playground set within a 40-hectare olive orchard in Minoudasht, commissioned by Fresh Farm and Khalil Farshbaf.

This project transforms an existing metal grid structure – originally used for arboricultural training – into a multi-level play landscape to engage and interact with trees.

A series of circular platforms, either suspended from or supported by the structure, spiral around tree trunks and gradually ascend towards the adjacent Cheshm Cheran building.

Integrating swings, slides and rotating elements, the design creates a stepped playground that enables children to move through, around and within the orchard canopy in a soft landscape.
