Nikjoo and Fare Inc have collaborated on the interior design of Peckham Palais in London, United Kingdom.

Peckham Palais is the adaptive reuse of a derelict former department store in south London, reimagined as a multi-level nightclub and bar.

The design preserves the building's worn material character – while introducing new interventions tailored to contemporary music culture.

Spaces are organised vertically, from a raw street-level entrance to a richly detailed ballroom and an acoustically isolated basement club.

Existing surfaces, traces of occupation and repaired elements are retained to create a layered, atmospheric interior.

As a result, this project balances conservation and performance, delivering a high-quality sound environment while reactivating a culturally significant venue within London's nightlife scene.
