Kan Atelier has renovated the bathroom interiors of the William King Apartment in Athens, Greece.

The William King Apartment project is the transformation of a full-floor residence in a late-1950s post-war building in Patissia.

This project balances restoration and renewal, preserving original elements while introducing contemporary materials and spatial clarity, reinterpreting Mediterranean bathing traditions.

Designed as a ritual-led space for daily restoration, the bathroom expands the original footprint to introduce an open shower and improved accessibility.

Materials such as marble, stone, wood and glass are integrated through precise detailing – while concealed elements support intuitive use.

The result is a calm and immersive environment that complements the apartment as a whole.
