Line+ Studio has designed the Xinchang Globular Center in Xinchang, China.

The Xinchang Globular Center rethinks the conventional stadium model by introducing a 'sports mall' concept that integrates professional sports venues with commercial, leisure and civic functions.

Designed for a small city context, this project addresses the common challenge of underutilised large-scale sports facilities by enabling continuous, all-day use.

The complex combines a main arena, training halls, fitness and aquatic facilities and mixed-use public spaces within a unified system.

By accommodating both international competitions and daily activities, the Xinchang Globular Center transforms a typically event-driven venue into an active urban destination, where sports, social life and economic activity are interwoven.
