British house producer and DJ Jo Noon has sent us another gorgeous chilled-out dance track called Wednesday. Like October, the previous track we featured by Noon, Wednesday is lush and dreamy in all the right places, but is underpinned throughout by crisp, purposeful percussion.
London producer Just Ben has sent us his latest track, a fantastically chilled-out and soulful dance track. In fact, 10 Forward might be even smoother and more funky than Love Sensation, the last track Just Ben sent us. That’s no mean feat.
Here's a remix of a house track called Down with Me by Bristol-based DJ/production duo Tyro.
Tyro don't mess unnecessarily with the four-to-the-floor house formula of the original track by Real Connoisseur, but freshen it up with a more garage-like manipulation of the vocal sample and an unexpected dose of sub-bass.
You can listen to the original track here.
The music we used on the soundtrack to today's movie about this year's Blickfang designworkshop is a track called Gettin' Funky by Wave Crushers, which we featured on Dezeen Music Project in June.
Here's another great house record by the same producers, released by German label Aux Audio. We think it might be even funkier than their previous track.
French producer Junior Size takes us back to the eighties with this acid house-inspired track featuring suitably squelchy synths and a catchy vocal sample.
This deep house track by German producers Wave Crushers has a wonderfully laid-back groove - the perfect way to ease into the weekend.
The track was submitted to Dezeen Music Project by German label Aux Audio.
The music we used on today's Clerkenwell Design Week movie is a track called Octave by French producer Junior Size. It's taken from his recent two-track EP called Trauma, released on the excellent Atelier du Sample record label.
The EP is currently available for free download.
Here's a new track by UK DJ Debonair, a deep house remix of an original track called Baby by Norwegian producer Finnebassen. Both tracks, along with two other remixes, are available on an EP released by House of Disco records.
There's been a great response to our call-out for tracks to play at INTRO NY in New York this week, and we'll be featuring some of our favourites on Dezeen Music Project over the coming days and weeks.
This house track by Tel Aviv-based producer Kobi Glas features a prominent vocal from the jazz classic You Go To My Head, originally recorded by Teddy Wilson and Nan Wynn - though Billie Holiday's version is probably better known. This version of the song was sung by Alex Maclaine.
