There's been a great response to our call-out for tracks to play at INTRO NY in New York this week, and we'll be featuring some of our favourites on Dezeen Music Project over the coming days and weeks.
This house track by Tel Aviv-based producer Kobi Glas features a prominent vocal from the jazz classic You Go To My Head, originally recorded by Teddy Wilson and Nan Wynn - though Billie Holiday's version is probably better known. This version of the song was sung by Alex Maclaine.
Here's a brand new track from upcoming French record label Atelier du Sample. Zephir is a great, laid-back house track and comes from the label's second release, a two-track EP called Trauma by Junior Size.
The EP is currently available for free download, so get it while you can.
We are using the track on the intro to the video interviews we did at the Design Indaba conference, as part of our Dezeen and MINI World Tour, including last week's interview with Richard Perez, World Design Capital programme director for Cape Town in 2014.
Listen to another great track by Lavine that we featured on Dezeen Music Project recently here.
Brides and Bees by South African DJ Floyd Lavine blends techno rhythms with the sounds of soul music to create a track that's smooth, laid-back and danceable all at the same time.
We discovered Lavine at the inaugural Design Indaba Music Circuit in Cape Town last week.
Here is another track from the fantastic La Première EP by new electronic record label Atelier du Sample, which we featured a track from last week. The EP is still available to download for free here, so get it while you can.
Make sure you also check out the great dance track by Aimedeuxhaine that we featured on Dezeen Music Project last year.
Here's a chilled-out deep house remix of Icelandic music producer B.G. Baarregaard's track Love With You, the video for which we published on Dezeen on Saturday. The remix is by an artist called Askell and has been released, together with the original track, on the Imolan Nights record label.
Make sure you check out the music video for the orginal track, in which director Harald Haraldsson combines a wall of bookshelves and a projector to surprisingly dramatic effect.
It's Friday so we thought it was about time for some more house music on Dezeen Music Project. This track by Manchester-based producer Sun Yin has got a nice deep bass and some lovely lush synths that come in as the track progresses.
Check out some of the other house tracks we've featured on Dezeen Music Project here.
All this week we're featuring music by different artists as part of our Dezeen Live shows at 100% Design. We played songs by Strong Asian Mothers on yesterday's show, a band we featured on Dezeen Music Project earlier in the week, and today it's the turn of Portsmouth-based DJ Reset Robot to raise the roof at Earls Court.
This track will give you a taste of what Reset Robot is all about. Taking inspiration from the techno and tech house genres, we think it's exactly the kind of hard-hitting dance music you'd want a robot to make.
Today's Dezeen Music Project track is by Cardiff based DJ Simplex, aka architecture student Simon James. Simplex explores a range of different genres in his tracks, from very minimal, atmospheric techno to more club-friendly tech-house like this track, Reso Dream.
If you like what you hear but are feeling in a more minimal mood, make sure you check out the other tracks on his Souncloud page.
Here's the third of a trio of house tracks we've featured on Dezeen Music Project this week. With You is an upbeat, sunny track by Californian DJ Krusht, taken from his recent EP By the Pool, which we featured the title track of on Dezeen Music Project last month.
