Video reveals Obel Award-winning community centre in Bangladesh

This video shows the building of a rammed-earth community centre in Bangladesh designed by German architect Anna Heringer, which recently won the Obel Award.

The community centre, which contains a therapy centre for people with disabilities and a women-led textile workshop, was named the second winner of the Obel Award last week.

Designed by Heringer the centre is called Anandaloy, which means place of deep joy.

Rammed-earth was used to build the community centre's walls and a ramp that wraps around the building provide inclusive access to all the rooms.
