Menu, Benchmark and Lammhults showcase products on Dezeen Showroom

Danish design brand Menu, British furniture maker Benchmark and Swedish furniture brand Lammhults are among brands showcasing products on Dezeen Showroom this week.

Furniture including lighting, outdoor seating, tables and chairs have been added to Dezeen Showroom, which is an affordable space for brands to launch products and showcase their designers and projects.

Knitting lounge chair by Ib Kofod-Larsen via Menu

Danish brand Menu has updated its mid-century Knitting lounge chair by furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen with sheepskin upholstery, as well as natural oak, dark-stained oak and walnut versions for the frame.

The low-slung chair has a triangular frame with a curved seat and slanted backrest, which features distinctive cut-outs that have been designed to allow users to rest their elbows while knitting.

Smile Stool by Jaime Hayon for Benchmark

Smile Stool is a solid wood seat made from American cherry wood created by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon for Benchmark.

The stool features two eyes on its seat formed by traditional tenon joints where the legs connect and a cut-out mouth that doubles as a handle, allowing users to carry the stool.

Sunny seating by Note Design Studio x Gunilla Allard for Lammhults

Sunny is a family of seating comrpising a freestanding easy chair and a modular two-seater created by Stockholm-based Note Design Studio and Swedish designer Gunilla Allard for Lammhults.

The seating is composed of a powder-coated or chromed steel frame covered with a plush cushion and can be ordered with optional armrests and casters.

Corso easy chair by Peter Andersson for Lammhults

Corso is an easy chair characterised by a cohesive loop of steel tubing created by Swedish designer Peter Andersson for Lammhults.

The chair is composed of an uninterrupted steel frame that loops around to form the rear legs and up into a backrest. The frame can be chromium-plated or powder-coated in black, white or red, while the canvas or leather upholstery is available in black or sandy beige.

Trioo chairs by Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen for Lammhults

Trioo is a collection of chairs with three different backrests informed by the form and colour of oyster shells by Danish design duo Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen for Lammhults

Each chair has a moulded veneer back and seat, which are available in natural ash, stained ash or natural oak, supported by a powder-coated or chromed steel frame.

Levante relaxing collection is a range of outdoor seating designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni for outdoor furniture brand Roda.

The collection comprises wooden lounge chairs and chaise-longues, which come with matching cushions made from outdoor fabrics including acrylic yarn.

Levante dining collection is a family of wooden outdoor furniture designed for alfresco dining, which has also been created by Piero Lissoni for Roda.

The range includes a dining chair and matching table made from a species of tropical hardwood called teak, which was chosen for its resilience in outdoor settings.

Flemish designer Dirk Wynants has created an aluminium picnic table called Hopper for Belgian outdoor furniture brand Extremis.

Jasmine is a series of geometric acoustic panels created by product designer Layla Mehdi Pour for Swedish furniture manufacturer Offecct.

The sound-absorbing panels, which are available in black, grey and off-white, are a triangular shape that allows them to be tessellated into playful arrangements.

Chic Lounge is a chair designed for comfort in informal meetings and relaxation areas by French designer Christophe Pillet for Flokk-owned furniture brand Profim.

The chair is composed of a low-slung seat with the choice of a high or low backrest, while the base is available in curved metal or a version that slightly rocks for additional comfort.

Love chair by Eugeni Quitllet for Vondom

Love is a smooth, curved chair designed for both indoor and outdoor settings by Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet for design brand Vondom.

Two of the chair's colour variations – called Milos and Cala – are made from recycled plastic waste from the Mediterranean Sea, while its Manta shade makes use of recycled fishing nets.
