Dezeen Showroom: a bench made from aluminium with ridges reminiscent of the texture of pasta is among 12 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.

Bello! bench by Lars Beller Fjetland for Hydro

Aluminium producer Hydro collaborated with Norwegian designer Lars Beller Fjetland on a bench with an elliptically-shaped seat and legs covered with long ridges along all surfaces.

Bello! is made from recyclable aluminium, with modification options including links to attach benches together as well as added tables, lamps and integrated  chargers.

Bello! was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a daybed informed by Middle Eastern fairytales and tiles that reference the ancient practice of building with compacted soil.

German outdoor furniture brand Dedon collaborated with American designer Richard Frinier on a daybed informed by Middle Eastern folklore.

Daydream has Viennese-cane-woven base and sides, and a billowing canopy.

Geneve tile collection by Argenta Cerámica

Spanish brand Argenta Cerámica has released a collection of tiles for use on walls and floors that have an earthy, granular finish.

Geneve tiles come in five neutral colours called albar, taupe, pearl, grey and dark that share a textural finish that references the ancient building technique of compacting soil as a building material.

Citron lamp by Tongqi Lu Design

Shangai-based studio Tongqi Lu Design has released a mood light that evokes the image of a piece of citrus fruit sat on a reflective metal plate.

The Citron lamp is made using a wax cast, giving it a characteristically dimpled surface that resembles lemon peel.

Impact Acoustic's head of computational design Dino Rossi created a system of modular ceiling-mounted acoustic panels that are installed with the help of artificial intelligence.

Plateau panels are positioned by a computer programme to maximise spatial coverage and come in a range of shapes, sizes and colours.

Australian furnishing company Ross Gardam has released a hanging pendant lamp consisting of a series of glass lamps mounted on a circular chassis.

The lights that punctuate the Ceto Circlet have a dappled surface reminiscent of the ripples on the surface of water.

Atrio Private Collection floor-mounted mixer by Grohe

Grohe's Atrio Private Collection contains a tap with an elongated stem designed to sit beside bath tubs.

The floor-mounted mixer has two valves – one for hot and one for cold water – a curved spout and a shower wand, and can be specified in a selection of metallic finishes.

Tranquebar stools by Boris Berlin for Ca'lyah

Designer Boris Berlin worked with Danish brand Ca'lyah to release a pair of wooden stools that have built-in capacity for future upholstery.

Tranquebar stools are available in two heights, including a taller version for use at bars and a shorter version that both have an indented ring to hold pads of upholstery if required, allowing the piece to adapt to changing trends and facilitate a longer lifespan.

Italian brand Urbantime has created a colourful and playful outdoor table-and-stool set designed in collaboration with Basaglia + Rota Nodari.

.015 Octopus comprises a central table flanked by four stools characterised by rhythmically placed supporting bars topped by smooth flat surfaces that can be used as either tabletops or seats.
