Dezeen Showroom: industrial designer Christian Haas has created two new bathroom products for German brand Villeroy & Boch, incorporating delicate ceramic reliefs and open shelving.

Artis Sense is a washbasin with a textured surface informed by pleated textiles, while Artis Frame is a lightweight twist on conventional bathroom furniture, with a metal frame and open structure.

Artis Sense is crafted from premium ceramic material that is highlighted by the fine relief, with light and shadow creating a dynamic ripple across the surface.

An extension of the existing Artis collection, it is available in the same palette of matt colours by designer Gesa Hansen, including bold options such as deep blue Nightfall and vibrant Teal.

Artis Frame, meanwhile, combines the proportions of a washbasin cabinet with a minimal metal frame and optional shelf, creating a visually lightweight option for modern bathrooms.

It can be paired with Artis Sense or one of Villeroy & Boch's other basins and comes in a selection of metal, wood and coloured finishes. These can be optionally coordinated with fittings for a harmonious look.
