Designed by Mexican architects S-AR, Casa Cosmos is a small house located on the pacific coast of Oaxaca.
The house is composed of a centre or hard core of concrete elements, which protects the living space indoors.
An external grid connected to the rough concrete centre extends the activities throughout the house to the outside, generating patios, terraces, perimeter and vertical circulation and a pool, changing the real dimension of the experience of inhabiting the house.
The roof serves as a viewpoint towards the distant landscape, the sea and the stars.
This project has been longlisted in the rural house category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
