Designed by Rockwell Group, Little Sister is an underground lounge bar located in the Moxy Hotel in New York's East Village.

The neighbourhood is where rock 'n' roll, renegade art, LGBTQ+ activism and generations of immigrants all merge to create an American counterculture.

Conceived by Rockwell Group as a vertical timeline, the hotel draws inspiration from various eras in East Village history, from the earliest settlers to the punk era to today.

The hotel comprises 286 design-driven bedrooms, co-working spaces, tech-savvy amenities, a lively restaurant and the underground lounge Little Sister.

This project has been longlisted in the bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
