Rise Design Studio has designed a weathered steel-clad sanctuary in the garden of a London house.

A sunken studio in a Kensal Rise garden, the Bunker offers a wonderfully spacious room full of light, tranquility and birdsongs. Here, the troubles of the outside world disappear into the passing clouds you can see through the rooflight.

This project has been longlisted in the small building category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
