Bloomlight by VOUW Studio is a lantern that bends toward passersby like an organic creature.

When you approach the Bloomlight, it senses your presence and starts bending toward you. The lantern slowly blooms open, greeting you with a soft light. Taking inspiration from nature, Bloomlight reimagines what street lighting could be: curious, calming and awe-inspiring.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
