Voltra Lighting has designed a lamp with a transparent reeded shell and brass mesh lining that cocoons the candle-like internal light.

Through its patented technology, this cordless and rechargeable lamp aims at creating the illusion of a candle that catches on the brass mesh.

Grounded by a sleek metal base with reeded design to complement the lamp, Reeded resembles traditional French boudoir lights. Embodying the best features of French Art Deco, the lamp combines nobility, romanticism and technological innovation, for both outdoor and indoor environment.

This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
