Barr Gazetas has designed Cottam House in London, United Kingdom.

This project is the retrofit of Cottam House and has seen it transform into a landmark innovation hub, spearheading the circular economy in London for the tech-style platform, The Mills Fabrica.

"By retaining and upcycling much of the building's original fabric, we've brought together its light industrial past with The Mills Fabrica's focus on sustainable innovations driving tomorrow's industry." said designers Barr Gazetas.

The refurbishment of the building encompasses an experiential concept store and innovation gallery for sustainable brands, a cafe by Mouse Tail Coffee, membership-led workspaces, a tech lab for prototyping, a powerful start-up incubation programme and curated events dedicated to nurturing a community of sustainable innovators.

This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
