An enormous thatched roof structure with open sides covers the communal areas of Zozaya Arquitectos' large concrete house, perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Mexico.

The 775-square-metre house is located in the bay of Zihuatanejo surrounded by dramatic rocky topography. Commenters have been debating the location of the project and the materials.

Some thought "the thatched roof contradicts the aesthetic of all that concrete" while others wanted to know "how were they allowed to build in such beautiful and wild scenery?".

One commenter said: "Perfect Airbnb hideout".
