Fourteen Stones Design (also known as 14sd) has designed Koffee Mameya Kakeru in Tokyo, Japan.

This project's store concept is "to make everyday coffee an extraordinary experience." The brand is based on a reinterpretation of coffee culture based on Japan's unique environment, context, aesthetics, and hospitality.

At Koffee Mameya Kakeru, a full course of coffee – elevating coffee to the realm of gastronomy – is served by skilled baristas.

"Kakeru" refers to the chemical changes that occur through the multiplication of different industries.

The coffee brands change according to the season, and the store offers a new coffee experience through collaborations with chefs, patissiers, and other different genres to develop and propose pairing menus.

This project has been shortlisted in the restaurant and bar interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
