Gregg Pasquarelli

Gregg Pasquarelli is a founding principal of New York-based firm SHoP Architects.

Architect Pasquarelli has led projects by the US office including the Barclays Center, the East River Waterfront Esplanade, the American Copper Buildings and the skyline-defining supertalls 111 West 57th Street and The Brooklyn Tower, all of which are in New York. His global work includes the new Fulbright University Vietnam, GoCo Active in Sweden and new towers in Rotterdam, Miami, Toronto, New Delhi and Batumi.

Founder Pasquarelli received his master’s of architecture from Columbia University in 1994 and has been a professor of architecture for over 20 years at universities Columbia, Yale, and the University of Virginia. He is also a fellow of the AIA and a lifetime honoree academician in the National Academy of Design.

Architecture practice SHoP’s work has been celebrated with a variety of honors, among them the Smithsonian’s National Design Award for Architecture and the Chicago Athenaeum’s Firm of the Year Award. Moreover, some of their designs are in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York City.
