LLEV has designed Symbioosa for Lasvit.
"Symbioosa is a tribute to mycelium, the fungi to which we owe the existence of plants and other manifestations in nature," said LLEV. "While light gives energy to all life, mycelium grows underground, quietly and without light."
Featuring a floor lamp and table lamp, the illumination of the Symbioosa collection figuratively grows out of the darkness to shine.
The collection uses glass forms produced from mycelium. Furthermore, its two-channel system allows the user to set the dimming according to the user's needs and allows users to choose from a spectrum of different types of light based on the time of the day.
This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
