London-based YN Studio has revamped Bradbury Works, a retail and office complex in Dalston.

The former car park in Gillett Square was transformed into 600 square metres of affordable workspaces, with an extra 500 square metres in an extension.

An aluminium and polycarbonate-clad steel frame adds an industrial touch to the complex, and a row of retail "pods" with corrugated aluminium wraps the ground floor.

The Victorian terrace facing Bradbury Street was also incorporated, forming an L-shape around Gillet Square.

This project has been shortlisted in the workplace project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
