TIMM has designed an attic transformation on the Birdsnest House in Tbilisi, Georgia.

This project is an extension in a historical area of Tbilisi, transforming an attic into a serene apartment with sculpted wood, panoramic views and a scenographic white interior.

Overlooking both the old town and the mountains, the project blends heritage with contemporary clarity. Inspired by Elene Akhvlediani's cityscapes, the design unfolds through three atmospheric zones: entry, living and dining.

A minimal white palette leads to a warm, wooden-clad dining area that frames panoramic views like a painting, while a perforated steel wall stair subtly connects levels while preserving openness.

Crafted with care and personal memory, the apartment redefines attic living as a poetic, serene retreat rooted in local history and modern sensitivity.

This project has been longlisted in the house extension category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
