Fernanda Marques Arquitetura has designed the interiors of Casa França, a home that merges sculptural design with everyday function in São Paulo, Brazil.

Casa França is a 1,200-square-metre family home that transforms an existing structure into a serene urban retreat, offering a serene, elegant setting for vibrant family life.

Designed to evoke the calm of a summer house, this project features warm slatted wood and cool travertine marble in a dialogue of textures that heightens the sensory experience.

As the front door opens, a striking vertical garden is revealed, framing the entrance like a living artwork and inviting immediate contemplation.

Living and dining areas flow into the outdoors, while curated Brazilian art and furniture reflect the studio’s commitment to elegance, comfort, and timeless design.

This project has been longlisted in the residential interior (large) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
