VSHD Design has redesigned the interiors of Origami Jumeirah, a high-end Japanese restaurant located at the Fishing Harbour in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Origami Jumeirah was the first and only Origami restaurant in the UAE, which opened in 2014 and is located at the Souq Mall, Fishing Harbour.

"The Food District Company, [for] which we have done for another two Origami branches, commissioned us to completely redesign their first flagship store in Jumeirah to embody the brand and the success it has achieved," said VSHD Design.

The design concept centres around a sense of thoughtful renovation, allowing the space to feel as though it has been preserved and enhanced over time.

As a result, every detail, from the textures to the finishes, connects with the Souk's rich heritage.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
