BEHF Architects has designed the interiors of Reiters Reserve Premium Suites, a minimalist transformation of a 1980s resort into a sustainable retreat in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria.

Reiters Reserve Supreme Suites is a thoughtful architectural transformation of a 1980s resort into a sustainable retreat.

Inspired by the philosophy of its hotelier, the design emphasises harmony with nature, modesty and the use of honest, durable materials.

Formerly, small guest rooms were merged into generous, adaptable suites featuring movable partitions, multifunctional elements and custom-designed furnishings.

Natural materials such as solid ash wood, clay plaster and natural stone create a warm, tactile atmosphere, while thoughtful spatial zoning – from semi-transparent entry areas to integrated Ofuro tubs – supports both privacy and well-being.

This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
