Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng has designed Frame Table, a sculptural wooden table that merges handcrafted organic forms with a precise, geometric tabletop.
Frame Table is a sculptural wooden table that explores the interplay between organic form and geometric structure through light, materiality and craftsmanship.
Inspired by the strength and fluidity of tree roots, the organic structure acts as a sculptural backbone, supporting, embracing and elevating the functional surface to create a unique aesthetic that is both tactile and visual.
As light moves across the piece, its curved forms cast shifting shadows throughout the day, making shadow itself part of the aesthetic experience.
Designed and made with chainsaw tools by award-winning Norwegian designer Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng, the table blurs the boundaries between collectible design, sculpture and functional art.
This project has been longlisted in the collectible design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
